The trouble is, with so many philandering, barren or damn right ugly women out there it’s hard too keep your mind focused on monogamy. Besides, with so many single women desperate to be the future Mrs Tudor (with the small incentive of Queen of England), you can change your mind as often as your stockings. Of course, being sole ruler of the country also has its advantages when it comes to ‘getting rid’ of the current wife…with a swift chop of the axe.
